The tale of Mujhay Qabool Nahin revolves around the lives of two sisters, Mashaal and Maira, who are tied by their father's choice to marry them off to their cousins, Arsalan and Salman. Maira, a determined young woman, attempts to balance her professional ambitions with her mother's obligations.

Her relationship with Salman, an arrogant and inept character, however, is a continual cause of contention. During Maira's professional life, her boss's son, Atir Ahmed, is charmed by her attractiveness and announces his wish to marry her. Despite Atir's efforts, Maira rejects his propositions outright, respecting her commitment to Salman and the marriage arranged by her father. Maira makes several sacrifices, even at the expense of her own happiness, since she loves her sister and wants to save Mashaal's relationship with Arsalan.

As a result, she is forced to separate ways with Atir, casting doubt on their future together. Will Salman realize and learn from his mistakes? Can Atir and Maira overcome the challenges and find a way to be together despite the odds? What happens to Mashaal and Arsalan's relationship?
